Large loop wool boucle from Bernat. The color is an pale creamy ecru. Again, a great addition to a weaving project, using just a few strands for accents, or maybe as trim in a knitted or crochet item (think collar or cuffs of a short swing coat). Astrakhan yarns were really popular in the 1940's through the early 60's; Astrakhan textiles resemble the coat of baby lambs with tightly curled loops.
